Anti-Corruption Policy in Ukraine

10. - 13.04.2018, Closed dialogue programme

The fight against corruption and the establishment of trustworthy institutions in Ukraine remains one of the EU’s highest priorities in the region. These factors are pre-requisites for a well-functioning of the state as well as of the private sector. In the ongoing transition process the importance of civil society actors can hardly be overestimated. Neutral and independent anti-corruption experts and activist are meant to serve as catalysts for change and contribute to the implementation of planned projects. However, they also face certain obstacles and backlash.

FES Brussels has invited a delegation from Ukraine for a dialogue programme on anti-corruption policies. The main objective is to foster the current discussion, strengthen dialogue and cooperation, and to promote the exchange of best practices between stakeholders in Brussels and activists from Ukraine.
