„Climate Security in the Horn of Africa”

Among the many socioeconomic and political challenges, the Horn of Africa region faces, Climate change is an additional stress factor in an already vulnerable region. In this virtual roundtable we would like to discuss how to address security risks in the Horn of Africa in relation to Climate Security.
Our colleagues of FES Kenia in cooperation with the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and the Panafrican Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) assembled a group of regional experts. Their findings and policy recommendations will be the basis for our discussion (recently published: library.fes.de/pdf-files/iez/16301.pdf) will be the basis for our discussion.
