FES Regional Climate and Energy Project MENA, the FES EU Office and PRIO Cyprus Centre are jointly organising an online workshop concerning East Med Gas developments and its geopolitical dimensions.

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung has convened an experts’ group as part of its project on climate and energy in this region. The group assesses the complexities of gas developments in the Eastern Mediterranean looking at economic, political, and environmental consequences.

In this second workshop in a series, we want to discuss the experts groups’ findings particularly in view of geopolitical implications and the role the EU can play in this context. The webinar will feature an input by Harry Tzimizras, Director of the partner PRIO Cyprus Centre and comments from the experts group followed by an open discussion.
