Online Series "What’s the offer? A new partnership between Europe and Africa", May-June 2020

In many ways 2020 is said to be crucial for the medium- and long-term relationship between Africa and the EU. EU’s new strategy with Africa published in March, a new Sahel strategy and not least the EU-Africa summit in autumn might profoundly shape the future EU-Africa cooperation. But only through close and fair EU-Africa relations, it will be possible to achieve a more just and sustainable world and to move “together towards justainability”.

With the guiding question #WhatsTheOffer Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Africa Department and EU Office closely accompanies these processes with online events throughout the year and invites its African partners to bring in their voices and their expertise.

In June we concluded the first part of our webinar series "What’s the offer? A new partnership between Europe and Africa" .
For those of you who could not participate, we invite you to watch the records of the webinars on our website .
We will continue with these online series in October in the run-up to the AU-EU Summit.
For further reading we would like to draw your attention to three recent FES publications  :
